Mickey and the Magician

This stage show tells the story Mickey’s journey to become a Magician, as he cleans the apartment of The Magician, and is aided by Disney friends.

The show usually runs 4 or 5 times a day, but does take some breaks at certain times.

You can pay to pre-book seats but this is not necessary, particularly with a priority pass, and the show is free.

Queueing

As they need to get everyone inside before the show time I would recommend arriving around 30 minutes before the showtime.

Priority pass holders queue in a separate area accessed at the front of the theatre by looking for the gate with a wheelchair symbol and showing your pass to a cast member.

The queue is covered, and the area for priority pass holders has some space to be able to move around. There is only one bench in this area.

Priority pass holders are let in first before paid seats and then the main queue. This is usually around 15 minutes before the show starts.

Access

Once the doors open cast members do a great job of directing guests, the theatre is large.

Wheelchair spaces are on the same level as you enter the theatre, a few rows from the front, and there is space to easily manoeuvre into a position.

Seats are available next to the wheelchair spaces.

Remaining seating is tiered so there are steps to all other rows, but as priority pass holders are let in first you would likely be able to sit on the first couple of rows with minimal steps.

Comfort

The seats in the theatre are padded and fold down, like in any theatre or cinema.

The show is dual language, so some lines and songs are in French, and others are in English, this is done in a way that allows you to follow what is happening.

French sign language is integrated into some shows, usually on weekends.

Streamers are released during the show and those sitting by the aisles or along the main walkway may be approached by puppet animals from the animal king.

Once seated it would be quite difficult to leave if required, but a cast member can help if this is necessary.

Wheelie Good Score

This show is absolutely lovely, it features a good range of characters and classic Disney musical numbers. It also features Belle, Cinderella and Elsa so it’s great for Princess lovers. It is a good length with really good music and a sweet story.

The theatre is really comfortable so it is a great way to rest a little, and if you have a Frozen fan this is, in my opinion, a much nicer way to see Elsa and Olaf rather than the Frozen show.

For me personally this show gets a Wheelie Good Score of 5 out of 5.
