Super Diner

Avengers Campus, Walt Disney Studios Park

Type of Restaurant

Super Diner is a quick service restaurant but does have some features that are a little different to other quick service restaurants. If dining inside once seated a cast member will take your order and you will pay them, then your food will be brought to you. You can also take food away to eat elsewhere or at the outdoor seating.

Food Style

In keeping with the theming of Avengers Campus Super Diner primarily serves shawarma, the meal eaten by the avengers at the end of The Avengers. This pita filled with salad and either a meat or vegan option is a great snack or lighter lunch. They also serve a caesar salad with chicken and bacon and an oversized crouton. The only sides are salad, crisps or cherry tomatoes, but they do offer a smaller kids sized version and a couple of desserts including the choco blast and a vegan cookie.

It's a small menu, but I love the vegan shawarma, and it's enough for me for lunch.

There is a hot dog van opposite so if eating outside some you can choose from both, and another food truck serving soup is also close by.

Average Cost

The shawarmas are 11 euros and hot and cold drinks are around 4 euros. I would say an average meal here for an adult depending on sides or desserts would be around 15-20 euros.

Accessibility Features

The main entrance to Super Diner has a few steps up into the building, however at the opposite end of the building there is a ramp leading to more outdoor seating and to a rear door which allows step free access. Once inside there is a counter with stool and a number of booths, and the space is quite tight, however if you enter from the accessible door there is a half booth where there are movable swivel stools which allow wheelchair users to access the table. You can then order at the table and have the food delivered to you.

The booth seating is quite snug and the tables are fixed so this could be potentially uncomfortable or quite tight for those who are plus sized.

The outdoor seating has a number of tables and some are designed with accessibility in mind for wheelchair users to be able to comfortably roll up to them.

Other Information

Super Diner is an actual former diner from New Jersey that originally operated from the 30's. It was later brought over to Germany, and then Disneyland Paris and refurbished to become Cafe Des Cascadeurs, then following the creation of Avengers Campus, Super Diner.

There are no toilets available, and the nearest ones are not particularly close, these would be either the ones between Stark Factory and PYM Kitchen or the ones at the back of the Art of Animation building.

Wheelie Good Opinion

I personally really like this location, but I like shawarma and love that there is a plant based version. I find it a shame it closes quite early, so is more of a lunch option than a dinner option and it is quite accessible, though it is still a bit tight and you do have to use a back entrance. In summer I find sitting outside here is a great spot for people watching and you can sometimes see Marvel characters walking nearby. If you are a Marvel fan and like shawarma then this is great, but if the menu is not for you then maybe sit outside and get food from one of the other food trucks, as the area is quite calm and I find it relaxing.

So let's see it!

“The ramp was too thin for my chair. My chair is an Enigma Energi 22 inch seat power chair. The full width of my Chair is 26 inches. The staff were helpful and offered a takeaway but we wanted to eat inside as it was a cold day.”
