Unless you are visiting as a day trip most people will need to find somewhere to stay, and there are no shortage of options in the areas around Disney, including 6 hotels located right by the Parks.
While I can't review every hotel in the area I will share my thoughts about those I have stayed at, and share some tips to find the right kind of accommodation to meet your needs, including fitting into your budget or meeting your accessibility needs.
There are 6 Disney Hotels located right by the Parks. All are within walking distance, though some are closer than other and all offer accessible rooms, though again these can vary. Other perks include Character meets at the hotel and access to Early Magic Hours.
Most rooms sleep up to 4 (plus an infant) and there are no accessible family rooms so this can limit some families, and accessible rooms can't be booked online.
Davey Crockett Ranch is a Disney property and still offers many of the benefits of staying in a Disney hotel, including access to Early Magic Hours and Free Parking, but there are no Character Meets here.
The accommodation is individual cabins, with 2 bedrooms, a living area and kitchen. They also sleep up to 6 people (plus an Infant) and are great if you want/need to prepare some or all of your own meals.
Wheelchair Accessible cabins are available.
There are however no shuttle buses for this property, and it is not possible to walk to the parks. While taxis or ubers may be allowed, this is really a property where you need to have a car.
Les Villages Nature is a centre parcs site located next door to Davey Crockett Ranch.
It offers many of the features you would expect from a Centre Parcs location with a large aqualagoon, a farm, gardens, and outdoor and indoor activities.
Although not a Disney Hotel it does offer packages, which include 2 days of park tickets, access to early magic hours and free parking.
You can't collect priority passes here.
Wheelchair Accessible accommodation is available.
The Accommodation provides self catering facilities and offers a range of options with different bedroom and bed layouts, so can be ideal for larger families or those who need more room. While having a car is ideal for staying here there is a local bus from here to Disney which costs around 2 euros per adult each way.
There are 6 Partner Hotels located close to the parks and offering shuttle buses to the parks. All shuttle buses are wheelchair accessible but some may refuse scooters, and they can get very busy.
As these are partner hotels you can book a package which includes the hotel and park tickets, or you can book the hotel and your own park tickets separately.
For even more budget friendly options there are hotels which are a couple of stops away on the RER, these can offer similar facilities to ones closer to Disney, and may even be part of the same chain, but at a lower cost. Areas like Torcy and Bussy-Saint-Georges are around 10-15 minutes by RER and the RER runs frequently and until after midnight.
Disneyland Paris is a major tourist attraction so there are plenty of hotels to choose from that are not official Disney hotels or partner hotels. Some are located close to partner hotels and offer shuttles, there are also a lot in the val d'europe area which is one stop away on the RER train, though again some offer shuttles.
These hotels don't offer packages with Disney tickets so you need to purchase your tickets separately, or they are ideal for annual passholders.
If you own a campervan the good news is you can park it at Disney, for the princely sum of 45 euros per night. The facilities are however somewhat limited and Caravans are not allowed.
Alternatively if you have a caravan, or want to camp, or just want somewhere with more facilities there are campsites available in the area and within an hours or so drive to the parks.
Maybe a traditional hotel is not for you, maybe you need more space, or you already have your own space in the form of a campervan!
The area around Disneyland Paris is largely residential so there are plenty of holiday lets available through sites like Air BnB, Vrbo and even booking sites like Booking, com and Expedia. These give you a wide range of options for number of bedrooms and layout and allow you to have more space and the option to cook some meals. While some sites do offer filters for accessibility you would need to check with individual hosts to see if a property is suitable.
