Starport: A Star Wars Encounter
Starport in Discoveryland is a location where you can meet a Star Wars character. It is classed as an attraction rather than a character meet so an Easy Access pass can be used here to get a return time, and a priority pass can be used at any time.
Up until recently (November 2023) this meet was almost exclusively Darth Vader, except for special occasions or parties, but now he seems to rotate with Chewbacca, Boba Fett, Rey and Kylo Ren. There is a photo pass photographer present.

Queueing
As you approach the attraction there is a separate gate for those with passes, but a cast member will be there to show your pass to. They will let you through then you wll wait outside until it is almost your turn, once inside you will be seen quite quickly,
The queue time can vary but it is usually not bad at all and can range from almost straight in to 15-20 minutes.
There is no seating at all while queuing, and the queue is outdoors but is covered.
Access
Access into the building is all level and very smooth. There is no loud music but Darth Vader can appear to summon you in which could give some guests a bit of a fright.
There is plenty of space while meeting the character and you can’t see anyone else waiting while you are meeting him so it feels very personal.
Comfort
There is no loud music, and because it’s indoors it’s a nice temperature and you can take coats off for your pictures if you want to.
It is quite a calm experience as the access queue is separate from the main queue so it doesn't feel very busy or crowded, Darth Vader however can be quite intimidating, and he is unable to sign autographs.
Wheelie Good Score
I like this option as it is one where you don't need a return time and there is often a short queue, which you can see from the outside.
To be honest the only reason to knock one star off is because I am personally not a big Star Wars fan, and found Darth Vader a bit scary! but changing the characters up a bit may change my mind!
For me this meet gets a wheelie good score of 4 out of 5!
