Thunder Mesa Riverboat Landing
Take a relaxing boat ride aboard the Molly Brown to view the rivers of the wild west. This ride takes you around the island of Big Thunder Mountain and gives some lovely, otherwise unseen, views of Thunder Mesa.
There are no height restrictions and the attraction is suitable for pregnant women.

Queueing
The queue consists of a waiting area where you wait for the boat to dock and reload, the queue time will depend on when the last boat departure was.
There is a gate and a cast member at the entrance to the loading area, pass holders wait in a separate area and board the boat first.
There are some benches in this waiting area, and it is all level access. It is undercover but not indoors.
Ride Access
The loading dock is decked and is level access from the waiting area. Wheelchair users can remain in their chairs and to board the boat a cast member deploys a portable ramp.
Once onboard there is an upstairs area accessible by stairs, but as a wheelchair user who boards first I go to the front of the boat and park myself there, there is a slight incline here. In this area there is no seating but there is some seating on other areas of the boat.
Guide and Assistance dogs are able to ride.
Ride Comfort
The ride is a gentle boat ride and you can stand and walk around as you wish, or find a seat if needed. The ride lasts around 20 minutes and the lower decks are covered but open so it can be chilly in winter.
Some background music and narration is played, but this is not too loud.
Once onboard you would be unable to leave until back at the dock and there are no toilets on board.
Wheelie Good Score
This is a lovely ride that can be enjoyed without transferring from your chair, but it’s not something I need to rush too every trip. I do enjoy it though and it gives a different perspective to Frontierland which is probably my favourite land.
The queue is usually only as long as waiting for the boat to come back, and I really like the theming of the boat itself.
I give it a Wheelie Good Score 4 out of 5, it's not the most exciting ride but it is easily accessible and low effort to ride.
