Aparthotel with kitchenettes and rooms for up to 6 within walking distance to the parks
Adagio Serris is a 3 star hotel and should not be confused with the Adagio Val d'Europe which a just a few hundred metres down the road and is a Dianey partner hotel. Adagio Serris is not a partner hotel but does offer a shuttle which is shared with Adagio Val d'Europe and Hotel l'Elysee.
There are a range of room sizes available, all with kitchenettes, the hotel also has the following facilities:
There is an outdoor pool at this hotel which is open during the warmer months, but there is no pool lift, the pool does have the option of steps into it or a ladder.
There is 24 hour reception, concierge and left luggage facilities (free of charge).
There are lifts to all floors which are a good size.
There is also a free shuttle to the parks, but this can get very busy. It is wheelchair accessible but I usually prefer to walk. The walk is fairly flat and has dropped curbs and crossings if following the route shown, and is also well lit at night.
The hotel offers the following room types:
Each room type also has a kitchenette which includes a fridge, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, double hob, toaster, pans, cutlery and crockery. Washing up liquid, a sponge and a couple of dishwasher tablets are provided.
Rooms have safes, ironing boards and irons.
There is no daily housekeeping, housekeeping is weekly unless you wish to pay for it more frequently.
Rooms are carpeted with wooden flooring in the kitchen areas. There are ample mirrors, storage and EU sockets available. WIFI is included.
All bathrooms have hairdryers, a heated towel rail, soap and shower gel.
Accessible rooms have a little more space to move around in but the main difference is in the bathroom, which is a wet room for the accessible rooms.
There are no emergency cords. There are some plug sockets available but I would always recommend bringing an extension and multiplug, especially if you need items to be plugged in by the bed. Don't forget an EU adaptor!
The accessible bathroom has a sink area with space to roll under, a raised toilet with some grabrails and a shower. Within the shower there is a fold down shower seat and a grabrail.
The hotel is walkable from Disney and is probably the closest off site hotel, with the walk not taking much longer than walking to Santa Fe or Cheyenne. I have walked it alone as a single female wheelchair user with no concerns about safety, you actually pass a very large police station on the way.
In the opposite direction to Disney you are also close to the Val d'Europe shopping centre, including the large Auchan to stock up on food and snacks for the kitchenette, and just for if you want to so some shopping.
This hotel can usually be found for a good price, and it is one of my favourite off site hotels. It is very conveniently located and the rooms have excellent facilities, so you are able to make your own breakfast, snacks and even other meals if you wanted.
It can appear a bit shabby in places, with damaged wallpaper or some carpet stains but I have never felt it was unclean and have never had any concerns with any of the staff. I think it is in better condition than the nearby Adagio Val d'Europe and prefer this one over that one.
It's also an added bonus to have the free shuttle available of you do want to use it.
I have stayed here several times and will be back again in the future.
