Bathrooms

Disneyland Paris, and France in general, do not use RADAR keys.

Wherever there are standard toilets an accessible toilet will also be available, in nearly all cases this is a larger accessible cubicle within the male and female bathrooms. They do not show a wheelchair symbol on the signs for the bathrooms but there will be at least one accessible cubicle in every toilet block.

Sometimes this is the first cubicle and sometimes it it the furthest cubicle. Many bathrooms have been refurbished in recent years and all those that have been there is a sink in the accessible cubicle. All usually have some form of grab rail but these can be limited and they don't have the pull down style grab rails. They do not have alarm cords, but do have visual flashing beacons to notify of an evacuation.

They usually have a choice of hand towels or a hand dryer and have automatic flushes, post it notes can be handy if this is a concern.  Many recently refurbished accessible cubicles only have hand towels.

There are limited accessible toilets which are stand alone and not part of a block, but the ones I use are:

  • In Disneyland Park - In Liberty Arcade on Main Street
  • In Disneyland Park - Near the entrance to the left of City Hall
  • In Walt Disney Studios - near the exit/shop at Tower of Terror
  • In Disney Village - near Sports Bar

Toilets can be found on the Disneyland Paris app by selecting the Toilets filter, if you are in the park it will even show where you are to help you find one.

While the accessible toilets being within the main blocks can add a bit of a challenge I find people do often move to let me through if there is a queue, saying that I have a visible disability and a wheelchair!

There are also cubicles for children in some toilet blocks.

Examples of Accessible Toilets

There are some differences between some toilets but all blocks are being gradually refurbished and so most that have been refurbished recently are quite similar. Quick Service restaurants tend not to have their own toilets and you need to find the nearest block.

Changing Places

Disneyland Park - First Aid Centre

While not a full Changing Places toilet, meeting the same requirements as in the UK, Disneyland Paris has recently improved the facilities available within the first aid centre in the Disneyland Park.

Within the first aid centre there is a private room with a toilet, sink, adjustable bench and a mobile hoist. The bench and hoist can be seen here, there is a toilet and sink not seen in the image.

This can be found at the end of the Discovery Arcade, near to Plaza Gardens restaurant.
